Kiến thức tiếng Anh ở bậc Trung học cơ sở được xem là những kiến thức vô cùng cần thiết, không chỉ được áp dụng nhiều trong đời sống hằng ngày mà còn là nền tảng cho những kiến thức cao hơn ở cấp Trung học phổ thông hay Đại học. Trong đó, phần kiến thức tiếng Anh lớp 7 có lẽ là một trong những đơn vị kiến thức quan trọng nhất và cũng khó nắm bắt nhất. Bài viết này xin đưa ra một số đề ôn tập để các em có thể ghi nhớ và củng cố lại những kiến thức đã học của mình.

1. Tóm tắt kiến thức tiếng Anh lớp 7

Từ nền tảng kiến thức tiếng Anh lớp 6, ngữ pháp tiếng Anh lớp 7 tiếp tục được nâng cao hơn và giúp học sinh từng bước làm quen với các kiến thức quan trọng như sau:

• Câu cảm thán với “What” và “How”

What + (a/an) + Adj + danh từ đếm được số ít/ số nhiều!

What + Adj + danh từ không đếm được!

How + Adj/ Adv + S + V!

• Câu hỏi bắt đầu bằng từ để hỏi: What, Where, When, Who, Why, How often, How long, How far, How many/ much.
• Câu so sánh

So sánh bằng: S + be/ V + as + Adj/ Adv + as…

So sánh hơn: S + be/ V + Adj/ Adv_er + than…

                      S + be/ V + more + Adj/ Adv + than…

So sánh hơn nhất: S + be/ V + the + Adj/ Adv_est…

                             S + be/ V + the most + Adj/ Adv…

• Câu đề nghị: Let’s V, What about/ How about Ving, Why don’t we V…
• Các giới từ chỉ nơi chốn, thời gian, phương tiện đi lại.
• Các thì

Hiện tại đơn: miêu tả một thói quen hoặc một sự thật hiển nhiên.

          S + V/ V_s/ V_es…

Hiện tại tiếp diễn: diễn tả hành động đang xảy ra tại thời điểm nói.

          S + am/ is/ are + Ving…

Quá khứ đơn: diễn tả hành động đã xảy ra và kết thúc trong quá khứ.

          S + V_ed/ P2…

Tương lai đơn: diễn tả một hành động hoặc một kế hoạch có thể xảy ra trong tương lai.

          S + will + V…

• Động từ tình thái

May, Might: diễn tả hành động có thể xảy ra.

Can, Can’t: diễn tả khả năng ở hiện tại hoặc tương lai (có thể xảy ra hoặc dự đoán), sự xin phép và cho phép, lời yêu cầu, đề nghị hoặc gợi ý.

Could, Couldn’t: diễn tả khả năng trong quá khứ, khả năng có thể xảy ra (không chắc chắn bằng Can), sự xin phép (lễ phép và trịnh trọng hơn Can), lời yêu cầu, đề nghị hoặc gợi ý lịch sự.

Would, Wouldn’t: là quá khứ của “will”, dùng để diễn đạt lời yêu cầu, đề nghị lịch sự hoặc thói quen trong quá khứ.

Should, Shouldn’t: diễn tả lời khuyên, lời đề nghị.

Ought to, Ought not to: diễn tả lời khuyên (sắc thái mạnh hơn Should) hoặc sự mong đợi.

Must, Mustn’t: diễn đạt sự cần thiết bắt buộc, lời khuyên, lời yêu cầu được nhấn mạnh hoặc sự suy luận hợp lý, chắc chắn.

Have to, Don’t have to: “Have to” diễn đạt sự cần thiết, bắt buộc do nội quy, mệnh lệnh, quy định. “Don’t have to” chỉ sự không cần thiết.
